Metal Stairways provide a safe and efficient option for travelling within a building. The design and layout of stairways is dependent on the intended use, occupant load and serviceability requirements. This design will focus on steel framed stairway design and associated steel components in an effort to highlight code requirements, stair design methodology, and delegated design considerations.
